Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician for a fast-growing food processing operation in Blue Island, IL. This on-site role offers a $40.00–$65.00/hour pay range and 1st or 2nd shift, with a comprehensive benefits package.

You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems across a three-shift plant, weld when needed, and work with SCADA/PLC/VFDs to track faults while maintaining CMMS records.

Qualifications

• Electrical experience with 480V three-phase systems.
• Mechanical troubleshooting in an industrial plant environment.
• MIG and stick welding preferred.
• SCADA, PLC, or VFD exposure.
• CMMS experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and LOTO.
• Comfortable working in a hot environment without air conditioning.

Responsibilities

• Handle mechanical and electrical maintenance across a three-shift food processing plant
• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems, including 480V equipment
• Weld (MIG and stick), fabricate, and rig as jobs call for it
• Install, align, and service pumps, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, screens, and tanks
• Use SCADA, PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and instrumentation to track down equipment faults
• Complete PM work in the CMMS and keep work and parts records accurate
• Follow and enforce LOTO, confined space, hot work, and OSHA rules
• Help the maintenance manager plan and prioritize work
• Be the person any shift can count on when something breaks
