Magid Glove & Safety is seeking an experienced HVAC professional to maintain and improve our facility’s heating, cooling, and environmental control systems at the Romeoville, IL site. You’ll lead, troubleshoot, and coordinate with contractors to ensure reliable operation.

With 7+ years of hands-on HVAC experience, you’ll optimize BAS controls and document work while prioritizing safety and quality workmanship. This non-union role offers day hours onsite.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience troubleshooting commercial or industrial HVAC systems.
• Working knowledge of BAS and electronic controls.
• Ability to read blueprints and manuals.

Responsabilités

• Maintain reliable HVAC systems: install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC equipment and related components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and identify developing issues.
• Monitor BAS, troubleshoot electronic controls, and implement improvements.
• Investigate recurring issues and develop practical improvements.
• Prepare proposals to improve energy efficiency and equipment life.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and define work needed.
• Maintain service logs, diagrams, and equipment documentation.
