Job summary

SSOE is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Industrial Facilities Design team. From concept through startup, you will direct multidisciplinary architecture and engineering teams responsible for creating high-tech, mission-critical facilities.

You will lead large-scale projects with complex stakeholder coordination, balancing scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and client expectations to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture.
• 8+ years of experience in the design industry; 5+ years as a Project Manager.
• Experience designing major capital industrial projects.
• Strong experience in industrial/manufacturing plants projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel to project locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for multidisciplinary project teams from planning through completion.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and strategic stakeholders.
• Develop project execution plans, resource strategies, and delivery approaches.
• Align scope, budget, schedule, quality, and risk management objectives.
• Facilitate change management and commercial negotiations.
• Monitor financial performance, invoicing, forecasting, and cash flow.
• Manage contracts for consultants and external service providers.
• Drive communication, accountability, and collaboration among stakeholders.
• Mentor project managers and support project delivery excellence.
• Support business development, pursuits, presentations, qualifications, and fee proposals.
