Job summary

DSV is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer for CIP Engineering to lead design and implementation of contract logistics processes at the Port Reading area, NJ, with relocation to a new Monroe Township campus upon completion. This on-site role drives continuous performance improvements and supports new business implementations.

The engineer analyzes workflows, manages vendors, maintains financial metrics, and guides cross-functional teams in LEAN projects, while mentoring interns/co-ops.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering required.
Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in a supply chain (warehouse/4walls) environment.
Prior leadership positions directing Logistics Engineers in 3PL/supply chain environment.

Responsibilities

Keep informed of best-in-class tools and techniques needed for solution design.
Track all projects and provide communication and guidance to engineering leadership.
Analyze workflow including inbound, put away, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping and VAS processes to ensure accuracy and ability to execute.
Develops logistics engineering strategies with the engineering leadership team.
May participate in DSV Quality Planning sessions validating requirements and processes.
