Job summary

DSV - Global transport and logistics in Lancaster, USA, is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to design and implement common contract logistics processes and drive continuous performance improvements. You will support new client implementations, contribute to facility layout, and lead vendors during solution deployment.

The role requires logistics engineering expertise, strong data analysis, and leadership to manage cross-functional teams and ensure alignment with CI goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-4 years in a supply chain/4 walls environment with leadership experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with MS Excel and data tools.

Responsibilities

• Research/Analysis: Stay informed of best-in-class tools; track projects; identify resources; analyze workflows (inbound, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, VAS).
• Documentation/Reporting: Document common processes; review data; address gaps.
• Communication: Communicate improvements; help define metrics; assist with training materials.
• LEAN Operations: Educate team on lean; deploy statistical tools; use Value Stream Mapping; apply FMEA; drive continuous improvement.
• PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Develop and roll out strategies; assess feasibility; coordinate subcontractors and field personnel; ensure contractual commitments.
• OTHER DUTIES: Travel 25-40%; support leadership; maintain budget and compliance.
