Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer focused on CIP Engineering to design and implement logistics processes and drive continuous performance improvement. You will support new business implementations and contribute to facility layout and equipment selection to support operations.

The role requires leadership of cross‑functional teams, control of costs, and alignment with performance objectives. Strong knowledge of LEAN, Six Sigma, WMS, and data analysis is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering required or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum 3–4 years’ experience in a supply chain (warehouse/4walls) environment.
• Prior leadership positions directing Logistics Engineers in 3PL/supply‑chain environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep informed of best–in–class tools and techniques needed for solution design.
• Track all projects and provide communication and guidance to engineering leadership.
• Determine and enlist resources required to support targeted changes in support of CI projects including WMS Engineering, Operations, Human Resources, Quality, etc.
• Analyze workflow including inbound, put away, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping and VAS processes to ensure accuracy and ability to execute.
• Ensure all distribution system functionality is configured to optimize performance (e.g., WMS, LMS).
• Perform cost/benefit trade‑off analysis and develop ROI business cases for projects involving process, system, or technology change.
• Develop logistics engineering strategies with the engineering leadership team.
• Support local operations with pricing analysis and support.
• Document and communicate common processes for all distribution functions within scope of responsibility.
• Review data and summarize expectations to address gaps in operation.
