Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience or 6 years with a Master’s degree.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering is required.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Capacity Modeling, Facility Design and Process Optimization is essential.
• Ability to obtain program-specific clearances as needed and ATF clearance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Model factory operations with process flows, value stream maps and CAD drawings to show production processes and KPIs.
• Calculate resource utilization and identify throughput constraints.
• Apply Six Sigma and Lean principles to improve efficiency and cost, quality, and on‑time delivery.
• Lead roadmaps and invest planning by drafting proposals for infrastructure improvements and new products.
• Influence cross-functional teams to address obsolescence and improve factory performance.
• Support new production contracts and product integration efforts.
• Improve factory safety and work cell ergonomics.
