RTX is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support the Effectors portfolio of factories in Tucson, AZ, focusing on throughput, efficiency, and value delivery for our defense programs.

The role covers labor analyses, process improvement, line balancing, capacity planning, and factory simulations, with opportunities to lead cross‑functional teams and drive Lean transformations while upholding safety and best practices.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering.
• Experience with Lean, capacity modeling, facility design, and process optimization.
• Ability to obtain required clearances.
• ATF clearance capability may be required.

Responsabilités

• Model factory operations with process flows and value stream maps to show production and KPIs.
• Calculate resource utilization and identify throughput constraints.
• Apply Six Sigma and Lean to improve efficiency and meet cost, quality, and on-time goals.
• Draft infrastructure improvement plans and plan integration of new products and equipment.
• Lead cross-functional teams to address obsolescence and raise factory performance.
• Support new production contracts and product integration efforts.
• Improve factory safety and work cell ergonomics.
