RTX is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support the Effectors portfolio in Tucson, AZ, focusing on maximizing throughput, improving efficiency, and delivering greater value. You will perform labor analyses, value stream mapping, line balancing, capacity and manpower planning, factory layouts, and simulations as part of continuous improvement initiatives.

Formación

• Degree in STEM and extensive experience in industrial engineering methods.
• Lean Manufacturing, Capacity Modeling, Facility Design and Process Optimization experience.
• Ability to obtain program-specific clearances as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Model factory operations with value stream maps, flow diagrams and CAD drawings to illustrate production processes and KPIs.
• Calculate resource utilization and identify throughput constraints.
• Apply Six Sigma and Lean principles to improve efficiency and meet cost/quality targets.
• Draft infrastructure improvement and expansion plans and integrate new products/technologies.
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive improvements and growth in factory performance.
• Support new production contracts and product integration efforts.
• Improve factory safety and work cell ergonomics.
