Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from an accredited university.
• Ten or more years of professional experience in industrial/manufacturing engineering.
• Hands-on time spent on the production floor implementing process improvements and troubleshooting.
• Experience in aerospace or automotive sectors with knowledge of manufacturing regulations and quality systems.
• Experience working with ruggedized computing hardware or durable electronics is a major asset.

Responsibilities

• Process Optimization: Analyze production workflows to eliminate waste, reduce cycle times, and improve efficiency.
• Floor Layout Design: Design and update facility layouts, workstation ergonomics, and material flow paths.
• Capacity Planning: Conduct time studies, establish labor standards, and analyze equipment capacity.
• Tooling and Equipment: Specify, procure, and oversee installation of manufacturing equipment and tooling.
• Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner with quality control, supply chain, and design engineering to transition new products to production.
