Job summary

RTX is seeking an industrial engineer to provide direct IE support to programs across RTX factories and suppliers. Some travel may be required, up to 30% of a standard schedule, to capture data, validate layouts, and partner with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include creating factory models, analyzing performance, applying Lean and Six Sigma, and helping with strategic roadmaps and future investments. Collaboration with project managers and suppliers is essential.

Qualifications

• STEM degree required with extensive engineering experience.
• Industrial Engineering background and project experience.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide IE support to programs across Raytheon factories and suppliers.
• Create factory models and analyze performance to drive improvements.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma to improve capacity, cost, quality and on-time delivery.
• Contribute to strategic roadmaps for capacity and technology insertion.
• Support proposals, business cases, and Make/Buy analyses.
• Collaborate with project managers and shop-floor teams to optimize layouts.
