Job summary

The Friedkin Group is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to lead industrial engineering initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, cost, capacity, and operational effectiveness.

You will apply Lean methodologies, data analysis, and structured problem-solving to evaluate current operations and implement durable improvements. The role requires 5–7 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s in engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial, process, manufacturing, or mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant industrial, process, manufacturing, and mechanical engineering experience.
• Lean Six Sigma capability to improve efficiency and quality.
• Process improvement ability to identify inefficiencies and optimize workflows.
• Kaizen methodology knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
• Quality control capability to ensure standards and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead industrial engineering initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, cost, capacity, and operational effectiveness.
• Conduct time studies, work measurement, line balancing, and staffing analyses to set labor standards.
• Develop standardized work, layouts, and material flow to boost ergonomics and throughput.
• Apply Lean/continuous improvement tools (Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping) and problem-solving.
• Lead cross-functional projects from analysis to sustainment with measurable results.
• Develop capacity models, business cases, and recommendations for new processes or equipment.
• Analyze data and performance to identify root causes and countermeasures and monitor impact.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to implement improvements.
