Job summary

Friedkin Group seeks a Senior Industrial Engineer to lead Lean-driven improvements across safety, quality, productivity, and cost. You will analyze operations, develop capacity models, and drive sustainable process enhancements in collaboration with multiple functions such as Operations, Engineering, and Maintenance.

Travel up to 10% is required. A Bachelor's in industrial/manufacturing engineering and 5–7 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial, process, manufacturing, and mechanical engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of industrial, process, manufacturing, and mechanical engineering experience.
• Lean Six Sigma to improve efficiency and quality and foster continuous improvement.
• Process improvement to identify and optimize workflows.
• Kaizen methodology to identify waste and drive small, continual improvements.
• Quality control to monitor and improve product/process quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead industrial engineering initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, cost, capacity, and operational effectiveness.
• Conduct time studies, work measurement, line balancing, and staffing analyses.
• Develop standardized work, process flows, layouts, and material flow improvements.
• Apply Lean and continuous improvement tools (Kaizen, 5S, VSM, visual management).
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects from analysis to sustainment with measurable results.
• Develop capacity models, business cases, and technical recommendations for new processes and investments.
• Analyze data to identify root causes, countermeasures, and monitor effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to implement improvements.
