Job summary

Electronic Power Design, Inc. is seeking a highly analytical Industrial Engineer to join our Continuous Improvement Team. You will evaluate manufacturing processes, design improvements, and monitor performance to boost productivity, quality, and safety across our electrical equipment operations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in industrial engineering, strong Lean expertise, proficiency in Excel and data tools, and a track record of cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in industrial engineering, process improvement, or manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with time studies, workflow analysis, and value stream mapping.
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production workflows, labor utilization, cycle times to identify improvements.
• Conduct time studies, value stream mapping, and workflow analyses to reduce waste.
• Design and implement Lean-based process improvements and SOPs.
• Develop SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation.
• Support validation of improvements through pilot testing and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams.
• Support planning, tracking, and reporting of improvement projects.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and quality in manufacturing processes.
• Provide training on Lean principles and standardized work.
