Job summary

Workforce Recruiter in Cresco, Iowa, is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to lead continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment. You will identify bottlenecks, reduce work-in-progress, and drive Lean activities to improve throughput and efficiency.

You will guide operators and technicians, develop capacity models and time standards, and collaborate with site leadership to deliver measurable savings while building a culture of operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience applying Lean principles to improve throughput and efficiency.
• Strong problem-solving with root-cause analysis and practical solutions.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-wide lean activities (5S, standard work, visual management, value stream mapping, Kaizen) to eliminate waste.
• Develop capacity planning tools and time standards; optimize layouts and flow.
• Collaborate with Operations Manager and Site Leadership to create a continuous improvement roadmap.
• Provide direction to operators/technicians and support their development.
• Lead projects from planning through execution to achieve savings goals.
