Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks a Senior Industrial Engineer to develop simulation and optimization models to predict manufacturing behavior and drive real-world adaptations. Qualifications

4+ years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Experience with simulation software or programming.
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing processes.
Ability to work in ambiguity.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

Capture the current process into a 3D simulation-based virtual factory.
Create feasible plans and schedules for shop floor, warehouse, factory & supply chain execution.
Maintain an adaptive virtual factory for future performance projections.
Own the design of new production lines and workstation layouts.
Identify high-variation processes and bottlenecks and drive to resolution.
Translate metrics into actionable improvements.
Produce capacity plans and staffing allocations.
Collaborate across domains to scale defense products.
Work from execution to strategic future state.
