Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to build 3D simulation models of manufacturing processes and drive improvements across production lines, warehouses, and supply chains.

You’ll own capacity planning, line layouts, staffing, and time standards using data-driven methods. You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Business Operations to ensure on-time delivery of cutting-edge defense hardware at scale in a large-scale facility.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Experience with PlantSim/DES software or equivalent, or programming or large data sets.
• Ability to read facility drawings, assembly drawings, specs for electronics/mechanical/ME assembly.
• Ability to work in ambiguity.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Model manufacturing with 3D simulation to capture constraints and logic.
• Plan shop floor, warehouse, factory & supply chain execution across relevant time ranges.
• Maintain an adaptive virtual factory as a current-status reference model.
• Design new production lines and workstation layouts using data-driven methods.
• Identify high-variation processes and bottlenecks; drive resolution with cross-functional owners.
• Translate metrics and KPIs into actionable improvements for line health and efficiency.
• Develop capacity plans, balanced line layouts, staffing allocations, and time standards.
• Collaborate across domains to scale next-generation defense products.
