Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Industrial Electrical Engineer to lead power system designs for large-scale manufacturing facilities within our Advanced Manufacturing practice. This role focuses on electrical infrastructure design, including utility interconnections and medium-voltage distribution, and requires coordinating with clients, utilities and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; 6+ years of relevant experience.
• PE license or EIT with ability to obtain PE within 24 months.
• Proficiency with ETAP or SKM and Revit/AutoCAD Electrical.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design medium- and low-voltage distribution (480 V to 35 kV) for high-load facilities.
• Lead utility coordination and interconnection studies with providers such as Duke Energy, Dominion Energy and Santee Cooper.
• Perform power system studies: load flow, short circuit, arc flash (IEEE 1584) and harmonics (IEEE 519).
• Provide technical leadership from concept to construction, commissioning and energization.
• Mentor electrical engineers and coordinate with mechanical, process and controls disciplines.
