Job summary

AECOM seeks a Senior Industrial Electrical Engineer to lead power system designs for large-scale manufacturing facilities in our Advanced Manufacturing practice. You will design medium- and low-voltage distribution, coordinate with utilities, perform power studies, and mentor other engineers from concept to energization.

You will work with clients, utilities, and vendors, delivering reliable electrical infrastructure across semiconductor, battery, energy, and defense sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 6 years of relevant experience.
• US citizenship is required; PE license within 24 months is preferred.
• Proficient with ETAP or SKM, and Revit and/or AutoCAD Electrical.
• Demonstrated knowledge of NEC/NFPA and IEEE power system standards.
• Experience leading power system studies and utility coordination for large facilities.

Responsibilities

• Design medium- and low-voltage distribution (480 V to 35 kV) for high-load facilities.
• Lead utility coordination with providers and interconnection studies.
• Perform power system studies: load flow, short circuit, arc flash, harmonics.
• Design power quality and reliability systems including UPS and standby generation.
• Define hazardous area classifications and grounding/lighting protection.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor engineers in projects.
