Job summary

Rexel USA in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Senior Industrial Automation Field Service Technician to provide on-site services for Rockwell Automation systems. You will evaluate, troubleshoot, and modernize customer installations, with duties spanning programming, drive startups, and reliability improvements.

You will work at customer sites, communicate with stakeholders, mentor junior technicians, and document findings in professional reports while representing Rexel USA in a fast-paced, team-driven

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Lockout/Tagout standards and best practices.
• Exposure to Arch Flash standards and best practices.
• Exposure to Industrial Control Systems including PLC, HMI/SCADA, motor control, and related Rockwell platforms.
• High School or GED - Required; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute on-site procedures at customer facilities.
• On-site data collection of installed base via site walk-through and data tools.
• Troubleshoot Rockwell Automation products and related manufacturing tech.
• Communicate needs and issues with management to avoid problems.
• Manage time to prevent scheduling issues.
• Mentor and coach other Field Service Technicians; may lead a team.
• Document work activities in professional reports.
