Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in Charlotte, NC to support installation, start-up, and operation of distributed control systems at customer sites. You will join a team of customer support engineers and travel as needed to service complex control equipment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• On-site instruction of customer personnel; modification/repair of control systems.
• Direct efforts of customer personnel in installation of control systems and subsystems.
• Provide engineering advisory assistance to customer and internal liaison on equipment matters.
• Create complete and timely reports detailing problems encountered and services performed.
