Job summary

Mandiant, part of Google Cloud, seeks an Incident Response Consultant to deliver incident response, assessment, and managed detection services. You will investigate technically high-profile incidents, perform forensic analysis, threat hunting, and malware triage across engagements, communicating findings to diverse stakeholders.

Ideal candidates bring multi-year IR experience and the ability to lead investigations, mentor peers, and present clear reports. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
• 3 years of investigative experience with network forensics, malware triage, cloud forensics, or disk/memory forensics.
• 3 years of end-to-end incident response investigations, analysis, or containment actions.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide incident response, forensic analysis, threat hunting, and malware triage on engagements.
• Lead client-facing investigations and manage small to moderate projects.
• Train and mentor other security consultants and present findings to technical and executive audiences.
• Develop comprehensive reports and actionable remediation plans for incidents.
