Mandiant, part of Google Cloud, seeks an Incident Response Consultant to deliver end-to-end IR services, threat hunting, and forensic analysis across cloud, endpoint, and network environments. You will lead investigations, containment, remediation, and client communications in high-profile engagements.

Minimum qualifications include a CS/cybersecurity degree and 5 years in IR and forensics, plus travel up to 20%. Location options include Reston, VA or remote US locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Cybersecurity or related field.
• 5 years end-to-end incident response investigations/analysis/containment.
• 5 years investigative experience in network forensics, malware triage, cloud forensics, or disk/memory forensics.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with internal and customer teams to investigate and contain cyber security incidents.
• Lead client-facing incident response investigations across cloud, endpoint, and network environments.
• Conduct host forensics, network forensics, log analysis, and malware triage in support of investigations.
• Document attacker TTPs and IOCs to build investigative tools and methodologies.
• Develop reports and briefings on technical findings for technical teams and executives.
