Job summary

Google, through Mandiant, is seeking an Incident Response Consultant to deliver incident response, threat assessment, and managed detection and response services to clients worldwide.

You will lead investigations across cloud, endpoint, and network sources, communicating findings to technical staff and executives, and mentoring other security consultants. The role requires strong written and verbal communication and the ability to manage large client-facing projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years end-to-end incident response investigations.
• 5 years of investigative experience in network forensics, malware triage, cloud forensics, or disk/memory forensics.
• Ability to work non-standard hours including weekends, nights, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to investigate and contain incidents.
• Codify attacker TTPs and IOCs for current and future investigations.
• Provide technical leadership for internal and customer teams to investigate and contain incidents.
• Lead complex client-facing investigations across cloud, endpoint, and network evidence.
