Job summary

Google (Mandiant) seeks an Incident Response Consultant to deliver incident response, assessment, and managed detection services for enterprise clients. You will lead investigations across cloud and on‑prem environments, perform threat hunting, forensics, and remediation, and communicate findings to technical staff and executives.

You will work with Google Cloud and on‑prem ecosystems, advancing security programs, and shaping incident response strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/IS/Cybersecurity.
• 8 years of end-to-end incident response investigations, analysis, or containment actions.
• 8 years of investigative experience with network forensics, malware triage analysis, cloud forensics, or disk/memory forensics.

Responsibilities

• Manage incident response engagements and threat-hunting operations with minimal guidance.
• Perform digital forensics across cloud (GCP) and on‑premise environments.
• Draft investigation reports and present findings to clients and leadership.
• Oversee multiple engagements with planning, budgeting, and quality control.
