Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in commission or incentive compensation administration.
• Knowledge of accounting and payroll principles related to incentive payments.
• Ability to interpret incentive plans and resolve complex payment issues.
• Strong attention to detail and deadline-driven work with minimal supervision.
• Advanced Excel skills; able to review and reconcile large data sets.
• Experience with Xactly Incent or similar platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs recurring commission and incentive compensation cycles, including data validation, calculation processing, reconciliations, adjustments, corrections, and payroll-file preparation.
• Reviews and interprets incentive compensation plans, payment provisions, and requirements for processing transactions.
• Maintains employee eligibility, plan assignments, rates, goals, thresholds, hierarchies, and related data.
• Reviews data from sales, ticketing, HCM, payroll, and other systems for issues.
• Performs pre- and post-calculation reviews, reconciliations, audits, and quality-control checks.
• Investigates payment discrepancies and resolutions.
• Processes approved adjustments, corrections, reversals, and related transactions with supporting documentation.
• Responds to cases and disputes from employees and partners.
• Works with cross-functional teams to resolve data, calculation, system, and payment issues.
• Identifies recurring issues and suggests corrective actions.
• Maintains audit trail materials and participates in system enhancements and testing.
• Prioritizes work and communicates risks; completes special projects.
