Qualifications

PhD in a related field with 7+ years of industry experience.
Experience leading employees, projects, and leaders.
Extensive biopharmaceutical and biologics discovery experience.
Proven track record in strategic portfolio thinking and decision making.
Excellent written and oral communication, publications and presentations.

Responsibilities

Lead the in vivo antibody discovery lab, setting direction and mentoring a team.
Design and execute in vivo discovery strategies across multiple platforms.
Provide technical leadership across discovery platforms (hybridoma, single B-cell sorting, NGS).
Deliver antibody leads for diverse programs and modalities including bispecifics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integrated campaign strategies.
Evaluate emerging technologies to expand capabilities and accelerate timelines.
Direct collaborations with CROs and external partners while managing risks.
Align antibody design with program goals and senior leadership priorities.
Drive progression of candidates through stage gates with data-driven input.
Promote scientific rigor, compliance, and responsible research practices.
Publish, patent, and present to enhance scientific visibility.
