Job summary

HUB Parking Technology is seeking an experienced In-House Counsel to support North American operations, providing practical legal guidance across the U.S. and Canada.

You will negotiate commercial agreements, manage disputes, and support corporate governance as a strategic partner to business leaders. Requirements include a J.D., active bar status, and 10–12 years of experience in commercial contracts within industrial/tech environments, with in-house experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with a state bar.
• 10–12 years of legal experience including commercial contracts, in industrial/tech environments, and international US/Canada exposure.
• Prior in-house counsel experience strongly preferred.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate complex legal issues into actionable advice.
• Pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset with excellent stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including distribution, installation/turnkey, maintenance, software licensing, bid/security, and tender documents.
• Identify and mitigate legal and commercial risks across all agreements.
• Develop, standardize, and improve contract templates, best practices, and approval workflows.
• Serve as strategic partner to commercial, operations, and management teams.
• Provide legal support across multiple U.S. entities and one Canadian entity.
• Manage disputes and coordinate with external counsel and insurance brokers.
• Select and manage external legal advisors for quality and cost-efficiency.
• Support corporate governance activities including board matters, resolutions, and statutory filings.
