Qualifications

• 6 to 10 years of experience in import operations, customs compliance, logistics, transportation, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of import documentation, customs regulations, tariffs, and trade compliance requirements.
• Experience entering and maintaining accurate data in customs clearance, logistics, or shipment tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Review import documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, and certificates of origin, for accuracy and customs compliance.
• Enter import data into customs clearance systems and maintain organized electronic shipment records.
• Identify and resolve issues related to import documentation, customs clearance, transportation, and shipment movement.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, internal teams, and government agencies to support timely import processing.
• Monitor regulatory updates, tariffs, trade agreements, and compliance requirements that may impact imports.
• Develop, maintain, and improve Standard Operating Procedures to support consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
