Job summary

Point of Rental is seeking a Training & Implementation Consultant to lead end-to-end Elite product implementations for POR clients. You will manage projects, configure systems, deliver training online, and validate data integrity to ensure successful go-live.

You will lead discovery calls, tailor implementation approaches, and design practical training programs. The role requires travel up to 20% and strong coaching and leadership skills to drive adoption across diverse client teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience in the equipment or party/event rental industry.
• 3+ years delivering training on web-based software solutions, including webinars and virtual classrooms.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret customer goals and translate them into practical software adoption strategies.
• High proficiency in training, coaching, and consultative leadership.
• Strong project management instincts and reliability in hitting milestones.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency across virtual, classroom, and computer-based training delivery methods.
• Ability to travel domestically as needed (less than 20%).
• Preferred: Knowledge of SQL or database structures for data validation support.
• Preferred: Prior experience with Point of Rental software.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Elite product implementation for POR clients, including project management, configuration, training delivery, and data integrity validation.
• Lead client discovery calls to understand goals, workflows, and operational needs and translate into a tailored implementation approach.
• Design and deliver high-quality training programs primarily online via Zoom, Teams, or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with Learning and Development to improve training content and delivery methods.
• Monitor project plans, milestones, and communicate status to clients and internal teams.
• Resolve client issues during implementation with creative, practical POR usage guidance.
• Prepare best practices dossiers by industry aligned to POR consultancy standards.
• Identify opportunities for additional consulting services and coordinate with internal teams.
• Develop and maintain expertise in the full Point of Rental suite and industry trends.
• Work independently with strong organizational accountability.
