Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions in the Insurance vertical seeks a Senior Implementation Specialist to act as the primary technical and consultative resource for carrier clients implementing automated system-to-system integrations and API-based data solutions.

You will guide clients through implementation, manage projects from requirements to delivery, and build long-term trusted partnerships while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of insurance operations including underwriting, rating processes, carrier systems and workflows.
• Experience managing complex customer implementations and driving successful project outcomes.
• Proven ability to interpret technical specifications and communicate with technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead insurance carrier implementations of API and system-to-system integrations supporting underwriting, rating, and risk assessment workflows.
• Act as the primary customer contact, providing technical guidance, implementation best practices, and strategic consultation.
• Manage implementation projects from requirements gathering to delivery, coordinating stakeholders and risks.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, pre-implementation workshops, and customer training.
• Support connectivity setup, system configuration, and discussions around XML, JSON, SOAP, Web Services, and SFTP.
• Coordinate internal resources and remove implementation roadblocks to ensure timely outcomes.
• Monitor progress and communicate status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Build trusted advisor relationships and represent LexisNexis professionally with customers and internal teams.

Working closely with customers and internal stakeholders, the team provides industry expertise, technical guidance, and implementation leadership to ensure successful integration and adoption of LexisNexis products.

About The Role

The Senior Implementation Specialist serves as the primary technical and consultative resource for insurance carrier clients implementing automated system-to-system integrations and API-based data solutions. This customer-facing role combines insurance industry expertise, project leadership, and technical consulting to guide clients through implementation, ensure successful outcomes, and build long-term trusted partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead insurance carrier implementations of API and system-to-system integrations supporting underwriting, rating, and risk assessment workflows.
• Act as the primary customer contact, providing technical guidance, implementation best practices, and strategic consultation.
• Manage implementation projects, including requirements gathering, stakeholder coordination, risk mitigation, and project delivery.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, pre-implementation workshops, customer training, and executive presentations.
• Support technical integration activities, including connectivity setup, system configuration, and discussions around XML, JSON, SOAP, web services, and SFTP.
• Coordinate internal resources, resolve issues, manage priorities, and remove implementation roadblocks.
• Monitor implementation progress and outcomes, communicating status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Build trusted advisor relationships while representing LexisNexis professionally with customers and internal teams.
• Travel as needed to support customer engagements and implementation activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in related field.
• 5-8+ years of experience in implementation management, project management, account management, consulting, or a related customer-facing role.
• Strong knowledge of insurance operations, including underwriting, rating processes, carrier systems, and workflows.
• Experience managing complex customer implementations and driving successful project outcomes.
• Working knowledge of XML, JSON, SOAP, Web Services, SFTP, and related integration technologies.
• Proven ability to interpret technical specifications and communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and training skills, including executive-level interactions.
• Demonstrated success building trusted advisor relationships through a consultative, customer-focused approach.
• Proven leadership in product, process, or operational improvement initiatives.
• Self-motivated, proactive, accountable, and highly collaborative.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $78,800 - $131,300. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. If performed in Illinois, the base pay range is $82,800 - $137,800.If performed in Chicago, IL, the base pay range is $86,700 - $144,400.If performed in Ohio, the base pay range is $74,900 - $124,700.
