Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks an Experienced Implant Process Engineer to support ion implantation equipment and process capabilities in a 24/7 high-volume fab in Austin, TX. The role focuses on maintaining equipment, reducing defects, and driving cost of ownership improvements while prioritizing safety and learning.

You will collaborate with maintenance, manufacturing, and other groups to develop recovery plans, document SOPs, and implement TPM/LEAN solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of semiconductor experience with implant or anneal processes.
• Experience with 300mm implant/anneal lines preferred.
• Familiarity with listed equipment (AMAT/NISSIN/Axcelis) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-volume implant operations and safety compliance.
• Develop recovery plans for abnormalities and prioritize work with shifts.
• Document tool activities, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides to drive efficiency.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to improve device performance and reduce downtime.
