Tr1X, Inc. in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Senior Scientist of Immunology focused on Targeted LNP Delivery to advance their CAR-Treg platform. You will lead in vivo and in vitro studies, shape immunological targeting and evaluate payload delivery.

The role requires a PhD in Immunology with hands-on experience in tLNPs, lymphocyte biology, and multiparameter flow cytometry. You will work cross-functionally to translate discovery into early development and contribute to platform strategy.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Immunology or closely related discipline with 4+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience applying targeted lipid nanoparticles (tLNPs) for cell-specific delivery to immune cells.
• Working familiarity with LNP formulation for mRNA payloads to collaborate with formulation scientists.
• Strong understanding of immunology, especially lymphocyte biology and in vivo disease models.

Responsabilités

• Design and execute in vitro and in vivo studies to evaluate tLNP targeting, biodistribution and payload delivery.
• Develop and apply flow cytometry and immunophenotyping assays to characterize tLNP uptake across immune cell subsets.
• Collaborate with platform biology, in vivo pharmacology, and process development to advance candidate tLNP formulations.
• Prepare study reports and communicate findings to internal stakeholders.
