Job summary

NewLimit is seeking a Scientist to design, formulate and characterize targeted LNPs (tLNPs) with antibody conjugates and other targeting moieties to expand beyond the liver. This hands-on role collaborates with Delivery Sciences and biology teams to build a targeting lipids portfolio for pipeline programs.

Qualifications

• PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences or related discipline with 1–2 years of work, or MS with 5 years in tLNP design.
• Strong hands-on design formulation experience for targeted LNPs, performed personally.
• SAR-driven design, purification, and characterization of tLNPs and conjugated lipids.
• Knowledge of conjugation chemistries for attaching targeting moieties (peptides, antibodies, nanobodies, scFv).
• Purification skills across normal- and reverse-phase, size-exclusion chromatography and preparative HPLC.
• Analytical characterization across LC-CAD, LC-UV, DLS, CE, BLI, and SPR with data deconvolution abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop LNP compositions and conjugation chemistries for targeting moieties across multiple families.
• Plan conjugation reactions and purification with scale and final purity in mind.
• Test targeting lipids using SAR to guide next design cycle.
• Develop conjugation chemistries in-house or with partners to support in vivo testing.
• Translate in vitro/in vivo data into structural hypotheses and optimize compositions.
• Present results and SAR conclusions, author protocols and technical reports.
