Job summary

Esri is seeking a senior software developer to build GIS and remote sensing tools for defense and intelligence workflows. You’ll work on imagery processing across MS/HSI, TIR, Radar, and motion imagery, delivering cloud-ready desktop and enterprise software with formats like NITF and GeoTIFF.

The role requires 5+ years in imagery apps, C/C++ or C#/.NET, and valid DoD/IC experience. U.S. citizen with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

5+ years of development experience with high performance imagery applications.
Experience with C/C++ or advanced C#/.NET software development.
Experience in defense/intelligence communities and with CUI.

Responsibilities

Understand U.S. DoD and intelligence user requirements for GIS and remote sensing software.
Develop image processing and analysis capabilities for EO, TIR, Radar, motion imagery.
Build cloud-friendly desktop and enterprise software for defense workflows.
Create image processing components, algorithms, and APIs.
Collaborate to integrate community toolkits into ArcGIS.
Lead projects and mentor junior developers for senior candidates.
