Job summary
Esri in Redlands, CA, seeks a seasoned professional to apply imagery and remote sensing with ArcGIS across products like ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise. Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in remote sensing, image processing, or image analysis
- Strong expertise with GIS concepts and ArcGIS platform technologies
- Applied research and rapid prototyping using Python
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Geography, Remote Sensing, Geophysics, Geomatics, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software developers to design, develop, and release ArcGIS remote sensing updates
- Design, test, and validate patterns and practices for ArcGIS remote sensing advancements
- Develop roadmaps and schedules based on user feedback and needs
- Act as a subject matter expert for multiple products and be a technical point of contact
- Support technology demonstrations and presentations for industry events
- Coordinate development planning across engineering teams for broad projects like Geospatial AI
- Communicate deployment patterns for scalable imagery and remote sensing systems
- Prototype AI-enabled image analysis approaches and embeddings
