Job summary

JLL is seeking a seasoned Facilities Manager in the Kansas City area to oversee site operations, staff, and service quality in accordance with JLL standards. You will manage electrical, mechanical, structural, and life-safety systems while coordinating with client leadership and vendors.

Responsibilities include developing startup plans for projects, ensuring regulatory and federal/state compliance, maintaining budgets, conducting site inspections, and driving continuous improvements in quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of third-party commercial IFM experience with leadership responsibility.
• Experience managing cleaning/custodial, landscaping, waste, and pest control programs.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems and BAS.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate properties and staff according to JLL standards and procedures.
• Develop, implement, manage, and maintain site services, performance, processes, and quality standards.
• Lead efficient operations and maintenance of facility electrical, mechanical, structural, and life-safety systems.
• Interface with client senior management, vendors, and organizational stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed operational budgets and regular and ad-hoc reports.
