Job summary

Acxiom, a leader in customer identity solutions, seeks a Principal Software Architect for remote leadership of enterprise-scale Identity Resolution platforms. You will design scalable, low-latency APIs, distributed systems, and data-processing pipelines leveraging AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks.

You will guide architectural direction, collaborate with engineering, product, security, and data teams, and mentor senior engineers to deliver secure and maintainable solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Architect/Principal Engineer or equivalent senior leader experience.
• Deep experience with Identity Resolution or related systems.
• Strong Java expertise including enterprise app development and distributed design.
• Strong Python and Scala expertise for distributed data workloads and APIs.
• Advanced SQL skills and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the architecture for enterprise-scale Identity Resolution platforms and services.
• Design systems for deterministic and probabilistic identity matching, entity resolution, and identity graphs.
• Develop architectures for real-time and batch identity resolution use cases.
• Define caching, concurrency, partitioning, and data-access strategies for performance.
• Architect distributed applications using Java, Python, and Scala, on AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks.
• Mentor senior engineers and drive architectural standards across teams.
