Job summary

Acxiom is seeking a Principal Software Architect to lead architectural direction across identity resolution platforms and large-scale data systems. You will shape deterministic and probabilistic matching, graph-based identity models, and high-throughput APIs in a remote, home-based setting.

The role requires deep expertise in Java, Python, Scala, Spark, and SQL, with proven experience designing systems on AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering with enterprise systems.
• Experience as Architect or senior technical leader (Principal/Staff).
• Deep experience in Identity Resolution or similar large-scale matching systems.
• Expertise in Java, Python, Scala, Spark, and SQL for distributed workloads.
• Proven ability to design cloud-native architectures on AWS and modern data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture for enterprise-scale Identity Resolution platforms and services.
• Design real-time and batch identity processing workflows and data pipelines.
• Lead performance optimization for APIs, Spark workloads, and data queries.
• Mentor senior engineers and establish architectural standards across teams.
