Job summary

Acxiom is seeking a Principal Software Architect to lead architectural direction for Identity Resolution, data platforms, and distributed systems. You will drive architecture across enterprise-scale services, guiding teams in Java, Python, Scala, Spark, and SQL on AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks.

The role requires deep expertise in identity graphs, data modeling, confidentiality, and high-availability systems, with a focus on scalability, security, and performance for real‑time and batch

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including designing complex enterprise software systems.
• Proven experience as an Architect or senior technical leader (Principal/Staff level).
• Deep experience with Identity Resolution, Entity Resolution, Customer 360, or similar systems.
• Strong expertise in Java, Python, Scala, and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms and data technologies (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks).
• Experience designing REST APIs, microservices, and low-latency services.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive architecture for enterprise-scale Identity Resolution platforms and services.
• Design systems for deterministic and probabilistic identity matching and entity resolution.
• Develop architectures for real-time and batch identity processing.
• Define strategies for identity matching, confidence scoring, survivorship, and data lifecycle management.
• Design and optimize low-latency APIs and services for high-throughput workloads.
• Architect distributed applications using Java, Python, and Scala; select appropriate technologies per workload.
• Design Spark-based data pipelines and Snowflake/Databricks data solutions.
• Define cloud-native architectures on AWS and modern distributed patterns.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to translate requirements into scalable designs.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineers and architects.
