Beast Industries on the West Coast is seeking an experienced IT systems/identity engineer to standardize and automate the company-wide identity platform. You will own onboarding, provisioning, and deprovisioning across multiple Beast brands and Step, driving SSO/SAML and SCIM configurations.

This is a hands-on role rooted in APIs, scripts, and automation. You will anchor the San Mateo office, serving as the on-site face of IT for the region and coordinating with executives and events.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT systems, identity, or infrastructure engineering.
• Hands-on Okta administration with SSO/SAML, SCIM, and lifecycle management.
• Automation experience and API-driven workflows.
• HRIS-driven provisioning in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Run end-to-end user lifecycle with automated joiner/mover/leaver flows.
• Onboard, integrate, maintain, and decommission apps across hundreds of SaaS apps.
• Engineer identity automation; manage groups, policies, and sign-on rules.
• Own Step integration; ensure production health of central Beast stack connections.
• Document runbooks, diagrams, and inventories for audits and onboarding.
