Job summary

Stantec in Albuquerque NM and Phoenix AZ is seeking a Project ICT Designer to lead the technical day-to-day design of Telecommunications, Security and A/V construction documents. This role collaborates across the Buildings Mountain Engineering team on high-tech facilities.

Ideal candidates will have strong Revit/BIM skills, site surveys, and coordination of contract documents. A background in datacenter, mission-critical, healthcare, or science & technology projects is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Engineering Technology, Electrical, or Telecommunications Engineering.
• 10+ years' experience in Technology Systems (Telecom, Security, A/V) preferred; 5 years can substitute degree.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare schematic design and construction documents emphasizing Telecom, Security, and A/V.
• Build expertise with Revit and BIM modeling.
• Perform site condition surveys.
• Review contract submittals.
• Support multiple design teams and projects and meet deadlines.
• Produce quality work using innovative building design methodologies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Willing to work on client sites and pass background checks.
