Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team is seeking a Project ICT Designer in the US West to lead day-to-day design for Telecommunications, Security, and A/V systems. The role collaborates across the Mountain Engineering group, with exposure to datacenters, healthcare, and other mission-critical projects.

Ideal candidates have experience in high-tech manufacturing and related sectors, and can work on client sites while meeting project deadlines and background checks as needed.

Qualifications

• Certifications: BICSI, RCDD, Avixa CTS or CTS-D, ASIS PSP.
• Fundamental understanding of inside-plan (ISP) and outside-plant (OSP) telecommunication design.
• Experience with design coordination and contract document development.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate schematic design and construction documents with emphasis on Telecom, Security, A/V.
• Utilize Revit and BIM modeling for design deliverables.
• Perform site condition surveys and review contract submittals.
• Support multiple design teams and projects to deliver results.
• Meet deadlines with strong time management.
• Create quality work using modern design technologies and methods.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; may require client site presence.
