Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team in the United States West seeks a Project ICT Designer to manage day-to-day design of Telecommunications, Security, and A/V construction documents. You will collaborate across the Mountain Engineering team, with experience in high-tech facilities and datacenters, healthcare, education, and science & technology sectors.

The role requires Revit/BIM proficiency, ability to coordinate with multiple design teams, and willingness for client-site work with badge clearance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Engineering Technology program, Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering required.
• 5 years' experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
• At least 10 years' experience in the installation and maintenance or design and specification of Technology Systems (Telecom, Security, A/V) preferably supporting projects in datacenter, healthcare, education, and science & technology.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating schematic design and construction documents with emphasis on Telecom, Security, A/V.
• Building expertise with Revit and BIM modeling.
• Perform site condition surveys.
• Review contract submittals.
• Routinely support multiple design teams and projects.
• Meet varying deadlines with strong time management.
• Produce quality work with innovative building design approaches.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Willing to work on client site and pass client badge background checks.
