Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team is seeking a Project ICT Designer for the US West with strong Telecom, Security and A/V design experience. You will manage day-to-day technical design and collaborate across the Mountain Engineering team, delivering construction documents and coordinating with multiple offices.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in Technology Systems design, BIM proficiency and a background in high-tech facilities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering.
• 10+ years' experience in Technology Systems (Telecom, Security, A/V).
• Experience with design coordination and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate schematic design and construction documents with emphasis on Telecom, Security and A/V.
• Develop expertise in Revit and BIM modeling for design delivery.
• Perform site condition surveys and review contract submittals.
• Support multiple design teams and projects, delivering timely results.
• Manage time effectively to meet varying deadlines.
• Produce quality work using advanced technology and innovative methods.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Be willing to work on client sites and meet badge/background requirements.
