Job summary

Credit One Bank in Las Vegas seeks an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to lead the FDICIA compliance and ICFR program. You will oversee controls testing, remediation, and governance, guiding auditors and regulators while partnering with cross-functional teams.

You will bring 8+ years in accounting/audit with leadership experience, strong U.S. GAAP and COSO knowledge, and a CPA or CIA. The role is based in Las Vegas with a focus on governance and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• CPA or CIA designation required.
• Public accounting experience, preferably Big Four or large national firm.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting, audit, controls, or financial reporting experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Experience with FDICIA, SOX 404, ICFR, or enterprise controls programs.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and COSO.
• Excellent problem solving, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual FDICIA compliance program including risk assessment, scoping, planning, testing, and reporting.
• Maintain and enhance governance processes supporting ICFR.
• Develop and oversee FDICIA policies, methodologies, standards, and documentation requirements.
• Serve as primary contact for auditors, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Oversee risk-based control testing across key financial reporting processes.
• Assess control design and operating effectiveness; review results and deficiencies.
• Drive remediation and continuous improvement of monitoring and testing controls.
• Partner with control owners to remediate deficiencies; monitor progress and risk trends.
• Prepare governance reporting for senior leadership; lead, mentor, and develop team members.
