Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CPA/CIA/CISA preferred or actively pursuing certification.
• 3+ years in public accounting, internal audit, SOX, or related fields.
• Knowledge of ICFR and SOX requirements.
• Experience with Big Four or large regional firms.
• Data analytics, reporting, or audit automation experience.
• Experience in operational audits and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Support the annual SOX compliance program, including walkthroughs, risk assessments and testing of internal controls.
• Assist in documenting and remediating control deficiencies and audit findings.
• Prepare reports and analyses on control deficiencies and compliance activities for management.
• Coordinate with external auditors by scheduling walkthroughs and providing documentation.
• Participate in planning and execution of operational audits and advisory engagements.
• Maintain audit management systems, update documentation, and generate reports.
• Execute audit procedures and document results per standards and methodologies.
• Evaluate business processes for improvements, risk mitigation, and efficiency.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders across departments.
• Assist with special audit projects as assigned.
