Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Senior IC Packaging Engineer to own EM simulation for RFIC and mmWave packaging, focusing on RF implementation, high-speed signal integrity, and power integrity. This individual contributor role may act as a technical lead for the EM simulation portion of package delivery.

The position is based onsite in San Diego, CA, with a temporary remote work exception while the San Diego site is developed. Relocation provided and up to 15% travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of industry experience or equivalent research from a PhD program.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent resident or eligible status to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Own signal and power integrity for RF/Mixed-Signal and mmWave packaging designs.
• Perform SI analysis and HFSS simulation for high-speed signals across package interfaces.
• Design and analyze power delivery networks using HFSS to meet PI targets.
• Model and characterize RF and mmWave packaging with HFSS tools and procedures.
• Collaborate with RFIC, mmWave, ASIC, Package Layout, and SoC teams on package requirements.
• Lead the SI/PI portion of package delivery as a technical lead.
• Create documentation and support design reviews for packaging deliverables.
