Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering with senior leadership across a platform spanning multiple teams.
• Deep IAM expertise across workforce, authorization, access lifecycle, or non-human identity.
• Production Go experience and distributed systems design on AWS.
• Proven influence without authority at senior levels.
• Ability to translate audit and regulatory requirements into automated controls.
• Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own the multi-year technical strategy for IAM end to end, including architecture unifying identity types.
• Drive architecture decisions across many pods and teams, establishing standards and contracts.
• Lead adoption strategy for 700+ systems, including migration paths and build-vs-buy decisions.
• Partner with Security, Compliance, IT, Infrastructure to translate regulatory requirements into automated controls and evidence.
• Lead data models and tooling to answer who has access to what and why.
• Mentor staff and senior engineers to grow identity as a domain.
