Job summary

Snowflake is hiring a Senior Software Engineer - Identity & Access Management to design and implement critical AI security capabilities for controlled agent workflows, and to build scalable identity and access management features with next-generation providers and protocols.

You will lead complex projects, ensure high-quality code and design decisions, and contribute to secure data sharing across Snowflake applications and external systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of industry experience designing, building, and supporting large-scale distributed systems in production, with recent experience in building large scale cloud services.
• Deep knowledge of identity and access management concepts such as authentication, authorization, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and RBAC.
• Experience with database systems and internals, incl. query engines and optimizers, a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement critical AI security capabilities for controlled, audited, restricted agent workflows, inbound and outbound.
• Design and implement identity and access management features, including integration with next-gen identity providers and authentication protocols.
• Build authorization frameworks to provide fine-grained access control scalable to millions of objects and users.
• Design and develop solutions for secure data sharing and access to Snowflake apps and external applications.
• Lead and deliver large projects with strong code and design reviews; guide the team and partners.
